How Does Evaporation Occur
Liquid water on the surface changes to a gas Gas or vapor converts to Condensation Then condensation changes into a liquid.
- The condensation process forms clouds, gas molecules change into a liquid,liquid molecules within the clouds become too heavy (coalesce) become water droplets,droplets fall to the Earth’s surface as rain, sleet, snow or hail.
- Heat (Energy) is required for Evaporation to occur
- Energy is used to break the bonds that hold water Molecules together
